Osama Bin Laden was killed May 1, 2011. Osama Bin Laden has been hiding for nearly a decade from the U.S. He was found and killed in a mansion outside Abbottabad in north-west Pakistan. President Obama made killing Osama Bin Laden one of the highest priorities for the war against al Qaeda. A CIA team that worked for the president had been tracking Osama for nearly four years and when they knew this was the time to take him out, they talked to President Obama. Obama gave them permission to take out Osama as long as it was not told to anybody. Shortly after Osama Bin Laden was killed, President Obama issued a global traveling warning for U.S. citizens.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security expects that al Qaeda with have some "Retaliation Threats," because we have killed one of their leader, Osama Bin Laden. But we haven't been worried about it because nearly a decade ago al Qaeda declared war on the U.S. and have had many threats in almost 10 years. What do you think the retaliation of al Qaeda will be? How should the U.S. handle the retaliation if al Qaeda people decide to retaliate? Did we do the right thing by keeping the body and sending it out to sea, or should we have given it back to al Qaeda people?

Fashion Rant
I'll warn you before hand. This is really girly.
Some days, I wear clothes to say 'Pssh, I don't care what I look like.' Other days, I wear different clothes in hopes people will view me as a creative and colorful person. And even other days, I'm feeling a bit depressed and decide on wearing dark clothes to convey that.
Some days, I wear clothes to say 'Pssh, I don't care what I look like.' Other days, I wear different clothes in hopes people will view me as a creative and colorful person. And even other days, I'm feeling a bit depressed and decide on wearing dark clothes to convey that.
In an interview with my brother Jak, he answered these answers to some questions I asked. He said he likes red shoes just because he likes red. Jak said he wasn't trying to make a statement when he wore goth clothes, he just liked the way they looked and thought they were unique. Later he found out they weren't so unique though. He said that his favorite color to wear (and I quote) is 'Many Color, the more chaotic, the better.' He said his favorite article of clothing was boxer briefs, and I won't go into any more detail with that.
So with this in mind I ask you (even boys, who I know really don't have any interest in fashion), what are you favorite colors (to wear) and why? Why do you wear the clothes you wear, and what do you think they say anything about you? Do they say these things accurately? Could Brianna have an incredibly girly side that no one knows about? When will I stop listing questions? Will the hero make it out alive?!?! Tune in next time a blog post is put up to find out!

High Gas Prices
Gas prices at an average price would be around three dollars, but some prices have skyrocketed to about $3.50-$4.00 a gallon per average. Some people think the reasons for gas prices going up really fast is because of the cost of Crude Oil. According to CNN, the cost of Crude Oil in the future market has risen 33 percent in the last year. This also effects other places in the world such as Nigeria, Iraq and the Gulf Of Mexico.
Now most people think that oil companies set the prices, but it is the global market that sets it. Pretty much, the market decides what people are willing to pay at a certain time. A lot of that has to do with the fact that the world is getting richer. The world is getting richer by the growth of the population in some of the countries such as China, India. Also, Republicans want to open up Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
If ANWR were opened to drilling, it would add about 900,00 barrels of oil per day to global supplies, resulting in having gas prices going higher; the reason being that the more oil you use the more money you have to pay to get the oil to get in the gas. Do you think that ANWR should be open to drilling? If you were in the Global Market what would you do to the prices? Do like the prices the way they are or do you want them lower? What would you do to help out the world to make the prices lower? What are the benefits of higher gas prices? Here is some basic info about gas prices.
